FamBam

I've been busy recently that I wasn't able to post my "FamBam" Christmas party. I call them "FamBam" since they are my close friends that are like family to meThey say that it's better late than never, so here it is.

Every year, my group of friends are having our Christmas party. It is a must for us to attend since it is our time to meet and share new experiences with each other. We had it at Hainanese Delights at SM Fairview last December 2011. It was full of talks and laughter because we haven't seen each other for a while since most of us are busy with our own careers and lives. Luckily, this day is fitted for our schedules.

This year is a lot more different since we had a new member. Here he is :

Baby Pierre Zachary, my friend Katie's 9-month old baby. Isn't he cute and cuddly?

Exchanging gifts is so much fun.

Reading each other's letters on the gifts

I'm all smiles when Crisel handed me her gift. Hahaha!

I remember that we had this kind of picture on our Christmas party last December 2010. History repeats itself. Hahaha! Priceless laughters! :))

Here are some foods that we ate:
For the starter:
This involves the classic ginger sauce that comes with Hainanese Chicken. You can just pour it over the Chicken or Rice and make it a meal in itself. The condiments included a yummy Ginger Sauce, a chili paste and your average ordinary soy sauce.

"Pure Pork"
You are given an option of having it served to you either deep fried or steamed. It was cooked to a nice gold color. And the inside was packed with delicious pork bits. Nothing really special but it is a good way to start our meal. :))

"Hainanes Delights"
Composed of Unlimited Hainanese Rice, tender chicken on this special sweet brown sauce.
Price: Php 120.00

"Beefed Up"
The tender beef imbued with savory taste goes well with noodles and soup
Regular Size: Php 120.00
Merienda Size: Php 90.00

"Delicious Delicacy"
The soft and savory dumplings are filled with garlic goodness and are fantastic for a meal
Regular Size: Php 95.00
Merienda Size: Php 80.00

Hainanese Delights is offering more delicious dishes to choose from. Plus their unlimited Hainanese rice that could make you full but you'd feel satisfied because you'll eat more but pay less. :)) It's ideal for families and friends who want to eat Singaporean food but won't cost much on their budget. Eating with friends has never been this fun. Being with them and hanging out makes it a more pleasant experience.
